SEIKO
The Seiko is known as a noble family who use to inhabit remote lands in the ocean that scattered into several hundred islands. They are an undead race who feasts on the souls of the living. While they do target living creatures, they do not kill senselessly and only feed when necessary. Seiko were known for their neutral stance in political matters and would assist with whoever they allied with at the time. They are the only country known to follow under the god Aleano.

They can be divided into three different branches. White wings, Black wings, and and Red wings. (To be expanded later)
▪ Whites were the most common, and more or less considered civilians. They were the most abundant branch of the three and traveled the most. The Seiko emphasized that while the White wings were still their kindred, their loose customs and actions did not represent their country as a whole and were not to be judged based on the lowest form of royalty. They were known for having a sort of natural intelligence that the other two branches didn't bear.
▪ Black wings were a specialized bred specifically for combat. This branch were the soldiers who defended their country and guarded the Red wings. Of all the branches, they feast the most. Because they are born specifically to fight, they kill without fail and follow orders without hesitation.
▪ Red wings were considered to be the most royal of the three branches. There are also a handful existing Red wings are the most rare and scarce of the branches. What they say is law, aside from their nobility their said to hold a sense of peaceful disparity about them.

Members of Seiko use to follow a strict code that has long since been abandoned. The code prohibited them from mating outside of the race because their genetics, being undead were not compatible with those considered living. After witnessing the tight customs of the Black bloods and viewing how destructive in nature they were. The Seiko abandoned some of their oldest customs in order to grow and change so that they would not become a second corrupt culture. In their change they learned that instead of having to eat souls continuously, they could bond with the living and live free of having to eat so long as their partner they bonded with was alive. In this partnership, upon bonding, the Seiko began to develop more human-like emotions. (Or rather, whatever emotions of the living creature they formed a pact with.) In addition to forming a pact with the living, they are able to inherit that living form's physical traits in a second form. The Seiko can have up to two forms. Their original bird-like hybrid form, and the form of whatever living creature they choose to form a pact with.
If their pact were to be severed incorrectly (such as unnatural death) they are burdened with red marks on their facial features. These features symbolize that they were unable to protect their loved one they formed a pact with. Usually the marks do not appear if their pact was severed correct (like natural death.) All members can bear more than one distinct mark; multiple marks suggesting multiple fails and their inability to keep their pact. In their culture it translates to lack of responsibility and care to protect what is precious to them. When their pact is severed, they become at risk of dying. The only way to reverse this effect is to eat continuously or form a new pact. Because of the heavy penalties that come with bonding with the living, most members choose to go without and live with the custom they are familiar with. However, the Seiko are known for being open-minded and accepting of other.

Seiko who chose not to adapt to change follow the custom of attaching their beings to their god, whom is the core of their religion. This still does require feasting (but not nearly as much should a pact fail.) Seiko are unable to sustain life of their own, the belief that attaching to their god gives them more longevity. The only other known alternative to become independent besides feasting continuously is to form a pact. Without a dependent source to thrive on, they can only live a week or so. Signs that signify a Seiko is dying consists of ice cold air in the immediate area. This could range anywhere from a few days to just a few minutes before death. Once they have passed, their body breaks down into a mist like component and fades into the atmosphere. The Seiko believe that when this process occurs, their bodies are ridding it's physical form bound to the world, and escaping into the atmosphere where their god resides. It is possible to revive them even when their bodies have faded so long as they have retrieved their entity. Doing so is incredibly difficult. Since they are considered to be non-living resurrecting them is much harder.

The only Seiko who do not die and fade into the air are the black wings. They are the only branch who can sustain in a dying state for months and rather than breaking down into mist, they fall into a coma and absorb the life around them stuck in a stasis. No one, including fellow Seiko, know how to bring them out of it.

JOTHEDIA
The members of Jothedia are of noble heritage. They have a rare ability to heal themselves and others, and even revive the dead. Another rare power of theirs, is the ability to control and reverse time to an extent. The region which they inhabit and heavily influence is Nixes it is the second smallest region and is influenced by the god Jena. Though unlike the other two regions who strictly abide by Jena's customs and goes as far as promote men to become Imperior warriors, Nixes, and the Jothedia family only loosely follow such customs. While they do not oppose the Empire of Jena, they do not endorse them either.

Within the family system there are ranks. Ranks are distributed by birth and level of power. Women, in the family, are favored and more respected with having higher say and more political influence over the country. The women in the family choose who is to be wedded, and who is tasked with creating an alliance. Typically rank among the women go by seniority and blood ties.
Men of the family are more likely to be wedded off to other significant political families because men in general have more influence over the public as a whole across the regions than females do. However, within Nixes, women are considered to be treasures, and are preferred over men this region. Which only further benefits that the noble family keep them within the country to better influence the people that live there.

The Jothedia are known to travel at times and see for themselves what is happening in the world around them. Because of this, they have come across different strands of the White bloodline and often ally with him on various stances and opinions. Because the White bloods held a considerable level of influence throughout Arthaedia, the Jothedia family thought it best to marry a few into the family. There are two successful marriages between the two different backgrounds with healthy offspring to showcase their desire to spread positive influence.
